Make Money By Stuffing Envelopes At Home:
There’s One Born Every Minute
Ads for envelope-stuffing still circulate like an old lost relative.
Some get the “opportunity ” in their physical mailbox, many of us get these in our email inbox.
You’ll see these ads in the classified section of your newspaper, as well as in online searches.
Promoters usually advertise that for a “small” fee, they’ll tell you how to make money by stuffing envelopes at home.
They say you will earn money for each envelope stuffed, making it possible for you to earn hundreds — or even thousands — of dollars on a monthly basis
The BBB, or Better Business Bureau, and the FTC, or Federal Trade Commission have warned consumers.
They’ve warned for years about the various envelope stuffing scams that have sucked in the gullible and unwary.
How Do These “Companies” Suck You In?
The answer to this question is very simple: These companies suck you in because they appeal to our inherent selfish tendencies to want financial compensation for very little work.
One thing I’ll say about the people running these scams, they know very well the thinking of these unsuspecting online amateurs.
Scammers are very good at what they do: SCAM! They are well aware of the
Making Money By Stuffing Envelopes At Home: Watch Out!
Here’s what you “get” when you sign up with one of these envelope stuffing companies:
- You sign up online with a company to “stuff envelopes from home” and you are then asked to pay the start-up fee. It can be anywhere from $20 to $80 dollars
- A couple of days later you will get a flyer in the mail that you are supposed to copy, at your own expense, and mail to other people. (You are already in the hole for the cost of the copies before you make one red cent)
- This flier, which has your contact information on it, is telling people how they can also “make money stuffing envelopes at home.”
- A few unsuspecting “entrepreneurs” will fall for the scam in hopes of making easy money, right from the comfort of their couch, in their pajamas, of course!
- The commission you get is quite small. You may get a commission starting from $1 all the way up to a whopping 5 bucks! Yup…I think you guessed it; you aren’t really being paid to stuff envelopes. Instead, you get a commission to trick other people into signing up to stuff envelopes!
These “envelope stuffing” scams are nothing like the affiliate marketing platform I’ve used to learn how to make money online!
Just A Good Ol’ Fashioned Scam
Here’s the main reason why this is a SCAM: There is no product to sell. You’re not promoting a business, online or offline.
These envelope companies also encourage you to sign up others for this “fantastic” work-at-home opportunity.
When you get other people involved, You actually become a SCAMMER by encouraging other people into signing up for a scam.
These enveloping stuffing scams prey on people’s need to make money much sooner rather than later.
It just doesn’t work that way, no matter how badly you want it to.
Look out for any ad that says the following:
In order to make themselves look legit, these scam artists will tell you “We require a one-time processing fee. We must protect ourselves from those who are not serious.”
Don’t buy this garbage! This is an old sales trick to make you think these people are really legit and serious!
Although promises of big earnings through these envelope-stuffing schemes are untrue, some may still be tempted to try anyway.
Remember this one rule: any so-called “job” that expects you to pay out of your own pocket for supplies to accomplish the job is a scam.
Also, remember that with automated technology now in place, people are no longer needed to “stuff envelopes”.
Similarly, building a digital business where everything is transacted online is the best way to create a passive income.

Stop and Think About This…
Why on earth would companies prefer human envelope stuffers that get sick, need smoke breaks, need bathroom breaks, and so on?
They can invest in an efficient fold-and-stuff mailing machine. It just doesn’t make sense.
It may also be a good idea to check out the company with the consumer protection agency in your area and the state Attorney General’s office.
You can check both the state you live in as well as the state the company is located in (if you can find it!)
Regarding looking up the company through the Better Business Bureau in your area, you can find out whether they’ve received complaints about the company and/or promotion that interests you.
Please keep in mind that just because there aren’t complaints doesn’t mean the promotion is legitimate.
What happens in many cases is dishonest scammers often pay to settle complaints.
Then they change the names of their business.
Finally, they redesign their website or put up completely new ones, so that no one catches up to them.
Here’s something else that works:
You can look at what others have to say about this “business opportunity” by doing the following:
Type the business owners or promoters’ names with the word “complaints” into Google, Bing, or Yahoo and see what you find.
You may really be surprised by the results.
You cannot and will not make money stuffing envelopes.
Heck, you can’t make gas money stuffing envelopes.
To be honest, “stuffing envelopes” appeals to people because it’s described as
