Is Frank Kern A Scam – Or Maybe Not

  • Marketer: Frank Kern
  • Courses: Ultimate Webinar Blueprint, Client Acquisition System, Info Business Blueprint, Mass Conversion
  • Do I endorse it? Frank Kern’s courses are excellent, but the fees for his courses are quite high; too high a ‘newbie” or someone starting out on a budget.
  • Overall rating: 4.5/5

While there are different opinions about Frank Kern, what matters at the end of the day is the amount of money you make from internet marketing.

Frank has raked in millions of dollars from the internet.

Obviously, there are a lot of things you can learn from him, as he offers good courses.

Notwithstanding, the courses are very expensive. Currently, his cheapest course has a price tag of $2997.

Although he can charge more because of his name, this is no indication that you’ll get more.

You’d have to go elsewhere else if you have a low budget for building your business or are just a beginner.

Who Is Frank Kern?

Is Frank Kern A Scam - Or Just Our Homeboy?

There isn’t really much information about Frank, even though he is a renowned internet marketer.

Sales copy and other not-too-relevant details are usually most of the stuff you’ll find online about him.

Over 25 years ago, Frank was a homeless person and earning $4.95 as a fast-food cook.

During that time he bought a “make money on the Internet” course while he worked as a door-to-door salesman.

The path of success for Kern wasn’t easy. Kern started out as selling credit card processing systems as a door-to-door salesman in Macon, GA.

He experienced a great deal of rejection as a door-to-door salesman.

Frank Kern managed to borrow tapes of the Personal Power seminar by Anthony Robbins from his step-father. Listening to those tapes proved to be a turning point for Kern.

What Personal Power did for Frank Kern was help him to formulate a relentless mindset and visualize becoming a high-paying and influential internet marketer.

Kern didn’t shy away from taking on whatever odd jobs he could to slowly position himself financially in order to finance his desire to become a successful internet marketer.

He soon was able to save enough money all the while gaining experience from his door-to-door sales of credit card machines.

Interestingly, Kerns main source of income was from eBook sales, an area where he had no experience.

Kerns relentless drive for success made up for his lack of experience in key areas.

The Surfer Dude Conquers The Internet

Is Frank Kern A Scam - Or Just Our Homeboy?
Is Frank Kern A Scam - Or Just Our Homeboy?

Early in his marketing career, Kern portrayed a “cool surfer dude” persona that resonated with thousands of people who started to buy the “stuff” that the laid-back guy from California was selling.

The persona that Kern presented resonated with tens of thousands of aspiring marketers, myself included.

The beer drinking, funny, foul-mouthed, long haired California surfer dude who works very little hours per week making millions of dollars selling his “stuff” was a hit with the average Joe trying to break into internet marketing.

The persona presented is an interesting character; and his lazy “surfer dude” millionaire lifestyle has been reinforced with continuous conditioning via video, audio, seminar presentations and the written word.

Basically, what Kern has figured out is a way to make millions of dollars online, not as a marketer, but as a consultant to online businesses and brick-and-mortar business and corporations.

As a matter of fact, some years ago Frank Kern announced he was leaving internet marketing for much greener pastures, which turned out to be Business Consulting.

“Frank Kern Is My Homeboy”

Is Frank Kern A Scam - Or Just Our Homeboy?

One of the characteristics that endears tens of thousands (maybe millions) of people to Frank Kern is his appeal as the everyday average guy who is your buddy.

For example, saying “Frank Kern Is My Homeboy” as seen on his podcast, is a brilliant marketing strategy and is quickly identifiable and likable.

You immediately start to think of Kern as your buddy, not as someone trying to sell you his “stuff”, although in reality he really wants to sell you lots of his “stuff.”

What is remarkable is most people fail to realize that Kern struggled early on to attain the massive success he now enjoys.

Kern faced the same problems many of us do – trying to “become successful” enough so that his income will allow him to live a life free from financial worry.

Just like the early Frank Kern, many of us are trying to figure this “success” thing out, trying to figure this “internet marketing “thing out, while stuck in dead-end jobs that are sucking the life out of us.

However, what Frank Kern did in order to create the multi-million dollar path he forged for himself is no secret – he meticulously studied the success of others and was relentless in applying what he learned.

Tenacity Paid Off For Frank Kern

Interestingly, while Kern was modeling the success of others, he was still struggling, which is not uncommon when an individual seeks to create a life-changing income.

What Frank Kern will readily acknowledge is he had the tenacity to keep going relentlessly, even when all was lost and it seemed like nothing was working and he was wasting his time.

This is the point where 97% of people QUIT – they CAN’T deal with failure and they never develop an attitude of relentlessness – absolutely, positively being determined NEVER to quit until you’ve reached your goal.

97% of people who try their hand at online marketing will QUIT before they ever sniff the smell of success.

How Much is Frank Kern Worth?

Frank Kern has a reputation for being the internet marketing consultant and copywriter with the highest paid direct response.

There are numerous ways Frank makes money, some of which include selling courses, writing books, conducting seminars, and offering consultancy services.

His net worth is estimated to be close to $35 million.

Give or take a couple of million…

A Rundown on Frank Kern’s Courses

Our focus will be on the courses Frank Kern is actively marketing, though he has a wide range of courses and products.

Let’s take a look at the features and benefits of each one of them:

Info Business Blueprint ($2997)

In this course, you’ll learn how to create and sell your own products online.

But what you’ll learn how to sell are digital information products and not physical products.

The duration of this course is 5 weeks, and here are what you’ll learn:

  • How to use paid advertising to channel traffic to your offer
  • How to sell your product using various marketing techniques
  • The best way of selecting the right info product for your niche
  • Fast methods of creating your product

Mass Conversion ($2997)

The Mass Conversion course shows you how to get leads and generate sales/magnets funnels.

This course is, however, targeted at closing on high-ticket affiliate offers.

It also contains a course on Facebook Ads that will guide you through closing on sales.

Finally, it also offers you valuable copy writing and Aweber training.

Client Acquisition System ($3997)

This is Frank’s most expensive course.

While your own digital products or generating leads for online courses are the focus of the other two courses, this particular course is centered on creating leads for coaches, consultants as well as other professional service providers.

This course will teach you the following:

  • How to utilize closing methods to get the sale
  • Effective ways to convert different clients
  • How to identify clients that will pay and those that won’t
  • How to know the number of customers you need
  • How to determine the right fee to charge your clients

Ultimate Webinar Blueprint ($2997)

A lot of money can be made from webinars when done properly. The aim of this course is to teach you how to use this type of sales funnel to make money.

Here, you’ll be taught the following:

  • Converting customers through a 12-step formula
  • How to conduct a successful webinar
  • How to win your registrants’ trust
  • How to avoid being offensive when preselling customers
  • How to search for people that are keen on participating in your webinar.

Frank Kerns courses reminds me of other courses I’ve reviewed on this blog such as:

Frank’s Courses Are NOT Cheap and NOT For Beginners

There is no denying that Frank Kern is an extremely successful internet marketer.

Notwithstanding, I think his courses are too expensive; that’s my opinion.

Way back when Frank Kern was the cool, long haired surfer dude from California he created courses that the “little guy” like you and I could afford and use.

Today, Kern is a polished, suit-wearing business man who is a multi-million dollar consultant to successful brick-and-mortar businesses and corporations.

Nonetheless, some people might argue that these courses are worth their price because they have generated millions for those who use them.

Although there is nothing wrong with such argument, there are many cheaper alternatives that are available to help an aspiring marketer learn how to make money online.

Frank’s drive is the bedrock of his success, and he provides high-quality training. He has simply taken internet marketing to a new dimension.

It would probably be great to purchase one of his courses if you’re already successful.

If aren’t currently making any significant earning online or if you are just starting out, it won’t be wise to spend thousands of dollars on training from Frank Kern.

Frank Kern’s courses ARE NOT for beginners. Kern does not market to beginners.

The cool guitar-playing surfer dude is long gone.

You Don’t Like Frank’s Stuff – He Has A 30-Day Refund

Despite being expensive, Frank’s courses have a good refund policy.

The courses have a 30-day trial period, during which you can get a 100% refund if you aren’t satisfied with it.

Another good thing is that no complicated terms and conditions are attached to this policy.

In some refund policies, you can’t access the entire content, or you may be forced to take certain actions.

Luckily, his refund policy has none of that.

One thing about Frank Kern – he does not like unnecessary drama, stress or overwhelm.

He’ll just give you your money back and move on – no questions asked.

Pros and Cons of Frank Kern

  • Good training: Ultimately, Frank’s courses are highly effective. You’ll learn a lot about internet marketing if you take them
  • Experienced marketer: Only few internet marketers are as successful as Frank; he is a multimillionaire.
  • 30-day refund policy: There is a 30-day refund policy attached to all of Frank’s courses. You can get back your money without stress.

  • Too pricey: Frank doesn’t really teach anything extraordinary – he’s learned how to reach customers my giving them “Results In Advance” so that people are falling over themselves trying to buy his “stuff.” There are many other far less expensive courses that can offer you similar training.

  1. An interesting article which just reinforces my opinion that WA is a far better product to follow.

This fellow is very expensive to follow with the price of his courses with no better result or outcome that WA provides.

I’ll be far better off and much happier ticking all of the WA boxes and working away building my own affiliate business within my WA supported website.

    • Hello David,

      My sentiments exactly!

Although I have to say that Frank Kern is among the best in the business.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post.

  2. I have always been intrigued by Frank Kern.

I have never known whether he is legit or whether the things he talks about or sells would really benefit me.

Honestly, Kern comes off as genuine, someone who really wants to help others.

Unfortunately, at this time I can’t afford the prices of some of his courses.

He’s now giving away some great content, but only if you decide to opt-in for his monthly membership, which is around $130 dollars a month.

The price may be slightly different than what I’m quoting…

Anyways, thank you for this information.

  3. It would appear that this guy worked his butt off to get to where he is today.

That deserves respect all by itself, however, I do agree with you that these courses are too expensive.

While they may have some great information in them, I don’t believe that a newbie can (or should) invest that amount of money when they have no idea what the course details or if it would be something they had the ability to even undertake.

I cannot see paying thousands of dollars on a mystery grab bag and hope that it would work for me, in my personal situation.

You mention in days-gone-by, he created courses for the “little” guy.  I wonder if we can get our hands on those?

    • Hello Cynthia,

Certainly, Frank Kern did work hard to earn his success.

However, I agree with you that for the average newbie, Kerns courses are too expensive.

Kern is on a totally different level now as a marketer. His courses are best for established online and offline business owners who have already experienced a measure of success.

Thank You for taking the time to read this post.
