Is 20Cogs Legit Or A Scam Platform You Need To Avoid?

Is 20Cogs Legit Or A Scam Platform You Need To Avoid?

Is 20Cogs Legit? Yes, it’s a legit UK-based GPT (Get-Paid-To) website. It is possible you can make extra money using 20Cogs.

If you are patient enough, you can find exciting opportunities on this platform, but don’t expect to get rich.

Upon sign up, you will be given £5 ($6.89 in US dollars). In your spare time, you can make some money from 20Cogs.

If you want to know what you can benefit from this online earning platform, continue reading.

20Cogs – What Does This Platform Offer

According to the platform, you can make money when you complete offers, surveys, competitions and play games.

20Cogs looks similar to a lot of GPT platforms I have reviewed. However, there are some unique traits to this site you need to be aware of.

A few ways to earn on 20Cogs.

Option 1 – 20Cogs Offers

Taking offers is the main way to earn on this platform. Offers include signing up for free trials, surveys sign up, participating in competitions, gaming, and so on.

As a matter of fact, what’s interesting is you cannot make money from taking surveys on this platform.

Although you cannot earn money when you take surveys on this site, you will be rewarded when you sign up for certain survey websites.

What differentiates 20Cogs from most GPT websites is how you can access these offers.

For most Get-Paid-To sites, you can browse through offers and pick the one that interests you; then you can also participate in surveys straight from the website and make money when you share your opinion.

The process is quite different on 20Cogs; you only see 20 cogs when you visit the offer section.

20 Cogs Overview

Is 20Cogs Legit Or A Scam Platform You Need To Avoid?

Every cog offer has a different option to complete. You can decide to go with the first offer you come across, and you can choose to see the next before making a decision.

Normally, you are presented with 3-4 options for each cog. You will have to take one of the cogs to unlock the next cog and receive access to further offers.

From what I observed, each offer typically pays you anything from around £5 up to £30.

When you complete all the offers and when ALL your cogs have been approved the cash is yours.

You can decide to say no and then would have two to three options to unlock the cog.

If you decide to ignore all offers for one cog, you will still get the first offer, so you can say no to all at first to be certain to find the best offer for you.

The cog’s color will change once you take an offer, then you can move to the next cogs to choose new and different offers.

However, ensure you read the conditions attached to any offer you come across; this is important.

Another thing to note when you sign up for trial offers is to remember to cancel; if not, it will continue as a paid membership.

Generally, you can find great offers on this platform if you are patient.

Option 2 – Referrals

Unlocking more cogs grants you access to all earning offers on the platform.

Another way to earn is to invite others. You will be given a link you can share with people once you join the platform.

If anyone joins the platform through your link, you will earn a commission and receive 5% of their earnings.

This will not affect their reward. 20Cogs will pay you for inviting people.

You will also get £20 extra if your friend makes a withdrawal.

Option 3 – Bonus Offers

There are a lot of bonus offers on this platform; however, you cannot make money from them.

The bonus offers here are basically offers 20Cogs promote to get paid.

You may still be fortunate to find good offers here, but I feel you need to carefully read the conditions for the offers, especially offers where you get to sign up for free contests.

If you sign up for these contest, expect to be contacted often by advertisers.

How Do I Get Paid?

How 20Cogs pay is quite different from other platforms.

Most GTP sites have payment thresholds. To cash out on this platform, you must have taken lots of offers to make all your 20 cogs green.

Once all cogs are green, you can request payment straight to your bank account or via PayPal.

The number of offers you take on this platform will determine when you get paid, not the amount of money you make.

Another thing to note is that you need to keep your account active to avoid suspension.

If you do not log in to your account for six months, it will be suspended, and you will lose all your earnings, so you will have to start from the beginning.

20Cogs is similar to other legit survey websites I’ve reviewed on this blog such as:

How Much Can I Earn On 20Cogs?

In terms of earning, 20Cogs did a good job – very transparent.

It is clearly stated that you cannot make hundreds per day on the site.

I like the fact that they are honest or transparent about their earning potentials.

According to the site, the average earning amount per payout is £200 ($275.69 in United States Dollars), and the record for one payout is £700 ($964.93 in United States Dollars).

However, the time period in which this was done was not stated; so I;m not sure if this amount of money was made in one month or if it took longer than 30 days.

It’s my conclusion that it may take longer than 30 days to make the average £200 simply because it can take longer than 30 days for some completed tasks to be verified.

Nonetheless, you can make some extra money on this site, and it is not a scam.

Keep in mind that you can’t get your first payout until all 20Cogs are completed, but after that you can continue doing Cogs and get paid out whenever you like.

However, if you want to become wealthy or need a full-time income, this platform is not for you.

As a matter of fact, survey websites are not a great way to make a full time income online.

Let me make this point clear: if you’re looking ONLY for some part-time money to pay a few bills, buy some groceries, have gas or transportation money, buy a new outfit, or have some spending money in your pocket for incidentals then 20Cogs is for you.

A “life-changing” income is an income that allows you to make real choices in your life. You’ll never have to make a decision based on “what’s the cheapest” or “what’s on sale.”

You’ll buy what you want, when you want it – and ALL of your bills are PAID in advance!

That’s a truly life-changing income!

On the other hand, if you want more and are looking to create a life-changing income, then you need to learn how to make money online.

The best way to learn how to make more money in 1 month than many people make in 1 year is through affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing has been the best way for the average person to build a five or six figure online business in the fastest time possible.

Also, the costs associated with building your own online business through affiliate marketing is very low, which is why it’s a great business model for creating wealth.

  1. Hello Howard,

20Cogs sounds like an interesting site.

Glad you confirmed it is not a scam. I hate scams.

I will definitely consider trying this website.

Certainly, survey websites aren’t the cash cow many people think it is.

Which section would you prefer would be the easiest to make small amounts of money?

Will appreciate the assistance as I am trying to make cash online.

    • Hello Bernard,

20Cogs is for UK residents at this time.

However, if you are looking for legit survey websites, on the link below and you will see posts on legit survey websites.

      Not A Scam: Legit Programs

Click on the survey platform that interests you.

Please keep in mind something that I share with all of my readers:

Survey websites are not a good way to make money online; it’s not a good option for even making extra money.

The long-term solution to not having enough money is to build your own online business.

As difficult as that may be when you are strapped for cash, it’s a viable way to create an income stream you will benefit from for years to come…

      Just my 2 cents worth…

  2. Thanks Howard.

I appreciate the honest and upfront information.

I see that the 20Cogs thing is only for the UK.

I will check out some of your other suggestions, as I am physically unable to work on my feet anymore, and need to pay bills while I build my business through Wealthy Affiliate, which I am loving (after learning a few expensive lessons)!

    Cheers.
